Nikkatsu Diamond Guys Vol. 1 collects films from the late 50s with talent to make the mainstay films of the era. The first in the box set is Voice Without A Shadow (1958) by Siejun Suzuki. It is a well-made and entertaining film noir about a murder starring Hideaki Nitani in the lead role as sleuthing reporter who gets to the bottom of a murder.
