The Rambling Guitarist (1959) is the third Nikkatsu Diamond Guys film starring Akira Kobayashi. He play a guitar playing drifter who arrives in Hakodate and falls into some shady business. His past catches up with him and threatens to undermine his position in a mob gang. It's a border-less action movie equal parts western and film noir.
