I was very impressed with the visual style of Anthony Mann's 1947 film noir classic T-Men. It is supposedly based on a true story. It's a thrilling story about two federal treasury agents infiltrating and busting a successful counterfeiting ring. The agents are played by Dennis O'Keefe and Alfred Ryder get assigned to track down a counterfeiting ring uttering high-quality paper. The framing and cinematography from cinematographer John Alton set this film apart from other film noir despite an average script. I would be interested to see more collaborations from Mann and Alton in the future.
