Aaron Sorkin's directorial debut Molly's Game (2017), looked interesting. However, in actuality the film was not as compelling as it should have been. A former Olympic level skier goes to LA and end sup running a high end poker game with movie stars and captains of industry. Jessica Chastain is good as Molly Bloom, but it hard to have sympathy for people who make poor life choices that blow up in their faces. Not content to run one games, she expands and burns the candle at both ends taking drugs to maintain the break neck pace. She gets arrested for running the games-one would think there are bigger problems and fish to fry.
