Stephen Soderbergh's latest project is a six part miniseries for HBO, Mosaic. It's an unconventional murder mystery written by Ed Solomon set in the fictional town of Summit starring Sharon Stone as Olivia Lake, a successful children's author, who is murdered. Her fiance, Eric (Frederick Weller) a con man is convicted. His sister, Petra (Jennier Ferrin) despite his past believes him and sets out to exonerate him. The former town sheriff with a past with Olivia is played by Beau Bridges and her best friend JC is played by Paul Rubens (Pee Wee Herman). There are several red herrings and the series doesn't end in an a conventional Hollywood manner. I found this much more satisfying than Soderbergh's last production in film, Lucky Logan.
