Limite (1931) by Brazilian Mario Peioxo is a surrealistic masterwork by the director who only made one film and was the last one I saw from the Martin Scorsese's World Cinema Project No. 2. It was a struggle since it was black and white with no dialogue only a soundtrack and no conventional plot. It starts and ends with the image above-which in turn inspired the project. The extra is an interview with film maker Walter Salles.
