My home in Florence at Al Cantuccio B&B, run by a Japanese-Italian couple that are friends of Mel and Kana. It's a bargain at 40 euros per night, less than a 20 minute walk to the historic downtown.
Some fascist architecture from the Mussolini period in Piazza della Liberta.
Piazza San Marco.
An artifact in a free exhibition off the street.
Duomo and Cathedral.
Palazza Vecchio.
Wow,that is cheap. I think the Duomo was one of the most impressive buildings I've ever seen, although on balance I preferred both Venice and Prague to Florence when we toured around Europe. Probably didn't help that I got accosted by bed bugs when there.

This is my second visit to Florence and I have more time, so I'm pretty overwhelmed by how much there is to see. But I must admit I am really looking forward to visiting Venice this weekend.
