Sengan-en is the former villa for the Shimadazu (above the family symbol and samurai armor) completed in the 18th century.
I witnessed a small erruption halfway up the mountain on the grounds.
A shrine for cats on the grounds.
Lunch was a black pork tonkatsu set.
Scary volcano. Looks a little more subtropical down there.

Yes, more subtropical and the volcano made world news erupting the day before I arrived.
