Since I had more time in Luang Prabang than last year and was with friends who were here for the first time, I visited some of the main attractions again. The Kuang Si Waterfalls are worth seeing-it's only about an hour out of town (with some great scenery on the way). I can't quite remember if I have been there on my first visit in December of 2000, but I seem to remember the grueling climb to the top of the falls with little payoff.
