John Ford's Stagecoach (1939) has long been considered one of the genre's finest films. For me, the location of Monument Valley in Utah is one of the crowning points of the film-for the time the cinematography is is amazing-as are the stunts in the action sequences. There is some good acting as well (one of John Wayne's better performances among others), but the story is somewhat marred by the mores of the times in my opinion, but I can see why this film is so beloved among many film goers.
