Solitary Man is a fairly entertaining film directed by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (who are probably better known as a writers for films like Ocean's Thirteen and Rounders). It's the story of a man who is diagnosed with a heart disease and decides he has been living his life the wrong way, so he begins cheating at work and on his wife. It is a sort of The Life of Ivan Illych in reverse. Jesse Esienberg has a small role as the impressionable protegee of the ladies man and student of human nature. Predictably he sees the wrongs of his ways and finds redemption in the end.
