  Haian Chicken Rice is one of Singapore's staples.

The Raffles Long Bar

This is arguably where the Singapore Sling was invented and the home of the S$30 (US$21)  Singapore Sling. We decided it's a pretty crappy drink (too sweet and pre-made for all us tourists). At least it was all you can eat peanuts and you can throw the shells on the floor. That being said Conrad was known to have stayed here-pretty cool.
