Contra is the first great album of 2010. It is full of infectious energy just like Vampire Weekend's eponymous debut. More afro-pop with catchy guitar hooks and interesting senseless lyrics. My favorite songs so far are "Diplomat's Son" and "Horchata." But I also think "Run," "Giving Up The Gun," and "Holiday" are well crafted songs as well.
