It seems to me you must be living not far from Nihon Minka-en (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nihon_Minka-en) at Mukōgaoka-Yūen station. We went there a few years back, any chances to revisit?

Ok, I thought it was in Mizonokuchi. Mukogaoka-Yuen is an express stop on the Odakyu line, but I haven't explored it yet.
However, I've been meaning to do a post on Tama Center, which has Kitty land and a big public park among other comercial areas. I need to visit with my camera soon.

Looking forward to it, Tama-center is an old haunt I haven't gotten back to in 10+ years. I assume much has changed.

Hmmm I don't know, but I guess you'll find out soon enough. Perhaps tomorrow I'll stop by in the afternoon.
