It's odd that, when I watch the trailer for the remake, it seems to be capitalizing on the same stylized violence/violence-as-humor theme he decries in other movies.

I wonder if Haneke was responsible for making the trailer. I doubt it.

You really need to see the original "Funny Games" ASAP.

Yeah I know, I watched the German version far enough to expereince the music switching from the soothing classical music to the death metal that accompanies the titles in th eopening sequence for the film. Intense and engaging, I wanted to watch more , but I know it will be better with subtitles, so I'll wait.
