It looks as if the world is starting to appreciate the beauty of Japanese women. Mori follows, Kurara Chibara the runner up in last year's paegent. Apparently Mori, 20 from Shizuoka, studied ballet in Canada, some have cited her ability in English as a reason for doing so well.

I think they might be appreciating the money Japan might inject into the Miss Universe pageant. I just assumed all these competitions were entirely political - surely they don't actually pick 'the most dynamic and charismatic girls in the world' - a quote from the host. I watched only a few minutes, but Jeleesan (recovering from surgery as you know) watched much of the highlights today (the poor thing - it's all her brain could handle), and was a bit disappointed the Korean girl came only 4th. (It was a bit like they were evening out the soccer world cup.) I'm not sure I like this girls look that much, nor last year's runners up. I'm sure it must have been her dynamism that did it for her...

Dude, come on you don't like her looks that much! Just look at that lithe, classical ballet trained body. She also speaks English fluently. Chibara speaks 4 languages and practicing the samurai sword is her hobby. They are both dynamic people and uber hot.
I heard that the Korean girl had so much plastic surgery that she didn't even look Korean.

Whilst I've always thought dancers have some of the best fgures around, I'm afraid ballet dancers don't figure in my top 10, and regardless it looks like a while since this girl put on her ballet shoes. Out of curiosity I checked out an interview with Mori and she's a complete air-head.
Re- the Korean... nowdays you don't look Korean unless you HAVE had this much plastic surgery.
