The end of the year in Japan often involves bonenkais, which are end of the year parties where you forget all your troubles. This picture was taken at an event called West Coast Party Night-it was originally organized to bring together people who graduated from West Coast American colleges (ie several alumni groups), but it is now open to anyone. It was held at a really nice restaurant called Shunju in Akasaka.

Uhh, yeah nice one pat. I should send you a link to some of my photos of Nicaragua...and some of the lovely ladies I met there! Have fun at home for the holidays; watch out for the service clerk culture shock. And come visit Canada before I leave Toronto forever!
