Whenever in Seattle I always like to check out the new trendy watering holes. This time I went to The Chapel, a converted Methodist? church. It had a very cool sleek modern design with high stools at the bar and aloft overlooking the floor. I had an excellent seared salmon dinner and several cocktails and beers. They had a large list of speciality martinis of various flavors, I had one that tasted like honey dew melon, it was a little too sweet. I was also impressed that they had Stella Artois, one of my favortie Belgian beers on tap. We had some local beers, ie Rainer, at The Cha-Cha Lounge after, one of my finds from my last visit.
Anna downs her drink as Lynn makes a point in the ultra trendy Chapel bar.
It's actually a converted funeral home. The chapel bar is where the funeral home's chappel was.

Stella's one of the run of the mill beers here in the UK - our version is brewed here under license (in my old home town of Burton I think - like much of Europe's beer!) and is pretty mediocre. The Belgian version is probably better, but I'm still surprised that this rates as one of your favourite Belgian beers. They brew an enormous variety of very interesting beers (including their extra strong Abbey beers - some at 11% alcohol (which is more wine than beer :-). Have you tried the rather potent Chimnay or Duvel??

Well, I usually like a lager, but I guess Hoegarden is better. I've tried Chimay and Duval, but there are too many to try.
