I just got back from Bangkok, I was there for a week, so the next few posts will be about Thailand. It?s the opposite of Japan in many respects, starting with the weather, Japan can get hot in the summer, but Thailand is almost always in the 90s (F) throughout the year. The food is spicy, while Japanese food tends to be subtle and mild. The people are always smiling and are refreshingly open and easygoing. Japanese people rarely smile especially in official photos, and people tend to be quite reserved and formal. The Thais approach life in a playful manner, and the Japanese are well known for their work ethic, however in some cases this can be trying, the inefficiency. Anyway, this picture is of the Bangkok skyline at dusk.
