I finally finished watching Season 3, and it has many classic episodes (Lisa's Pony, Flaming Moe's, Sparate Vocations, Bart's Friend Falls In Love, etc...). In fact I can remeber watching a lot of these over and over after coming home from drinking when I was living with Mike, Gaje, and Greg. As Matt Groening said on the box, "...this makes Season 2 look like Season 1." There 's a lot of great commentary as well. Worth every penny.

Long live the Simpsons!

I agree with you that this is worth every penny. Watching the First Season of the Simpsons is a bit weird (not quite polished yet and the humor gets wittier as the seasons commence, in my opinion).
I've been working on getting quite a few boxed sets these days. I just ordered the 1st seasons of Three's Company, What's Happening? and I'm all caught up on the South Park series, The Sopranos and Six Feet Under. It's a disease...right Joe?

Well I'm hooked on The Sopranos and I've heard good things about SIx Feet Under, but trying to limit my collecting obsession. I reckon I'll probably stop with the Simpson after Season 6 or 8...
I'm on the verge of starting a collection of the Kurosawa Criterion Collection Movies, so far I just have Rashomon, but I think I'll order the 4 movie box set (Seven Samurai, The Hidden Fortress, Yojimbo, Sanjuo).
