I hadn't been back to Seattle during the summer for quite some time, and didn't have a chance to see Ichiro play before this last visit. On August 13th, I caught a game at Safeco Field. Ichiro didn't dissapoint, he was 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored, and had two walks. The Mariners won 11-6 against the Blue Jays and Sasaki pitched one perfect inning of relief in his first appearance back from an injury. Here are some photos of the beautiful and atmospheric ballpark:
Here's a view from the outfield.

That's a picture of Ichiro on the outfield scoreboard.
Fascinating, dude, truly fascinating. So now it appears you are moving even further from posting photos of cute Japanese women in the clubs of Tokyo and instead giving me sports reports for the baseball team in my own backyard. I'm truly dissappointed.
Great to see you again, Pat, especially this time. I hope you had a good trip home.

Well, these next few posts will mainly be of interest to my non-American friends since most of them will be about my trip home (Seattle, Spokane and your wedding in Whistler). However, I plan to do some stuff that I haven't gotten around to, like go the Tsukiji Market and have a drink in the bar at the Hyatt in Shinjuku, supposedly one of the best night view bars in the world. Stay patient and posted. Congrats again Pat and it was good seeing you as well.
