I have to admit that Stacie Passon's 2013 film Concussion came in under the radar. In fact I wasn't aware of it until I was reading Slate's The Movie Club, in which this film got a lotta love from the critics participating. I have to admit I really liked this strange film as well, and much of that may have to do with the power of Robin Weigert's performance of the bored lesbian housewife. There's a welcome turn from ex-Mad Man regular Maggie Siff. I know some of the criticism is that the film is unrealistic, but then so are most films I don't find the premise any more ridiculous than a woman being best friends with a man whom she was dating's angry ex-wife.
