What's "pre-night class dinner"?

Hi Edward, you always remind me that I have an audience... This semester I am teaching a night course on Monday nights in Suidobashi (central Tokyo) and the theme is "Current English" (i.e. current events). It starts at 6:30, so I often go early and get dinner...

Ah, I see. I was thinking it was something more general.
I think I'm a little obsessed with keeping up with your blog, in a similar but less extreme way that Nick Hornsby described being obsessed with his soccer team, in that I don't want to miss out on anything. On the various occasions that I've been unable to keep up with your posts for extended periods, I've made a point of setting aside a couple of hours to catch up again. Apart from some Japan and travel exposure, it is currently my only exposure to cinema and much of my exposure to literature as well (not a great deal of time for reading during my course).
