I recently visited a cool Norwegian cafe near Yoyogi Park called Fuglen Cafe. Most of the tables, chairs, and furnishings are for sale. They serve excellent coffee and have several varieties of Norwegian beer in bottles.

I wouldn't have associated Norway with either coffee or beer, but then I've never been. I imagine the Norwegian beer is cheaper in Japan than in Norway, given the taxes they levy on alcohol in Scandinavian countries.

I think the emphasis at this cafe is really on design, which they are noteworthy for.
