I wanted to take my friend Pete out for his hospitality in hosting me at his condo in Cronulla, and he chose The Devonshire, where a coworker of his works part time as a waiter. It has recently won a one hat rating form The Sydney Morning Herald, which is a rating similar to Micheline star rankings. I guess it can be described as English food done in a modern Australian fashion. Tuesdays is BYO night--there is no corkage fee.

Three variations of pork: crackling, pork belly, and something that resembled pate.
