Akihabara

     Akihabara is a town located in the center in Japan. Then the strange music is popular among a lot of youths.

          Akihabara is thought that Akihabara is the town of the “otakus”. “Otakus ”is the people who devote themselves to a low hobby of the cognitive degree socially. But Akihabara isn’t only the otakus’s town. The Akihabara station is a thing for a large number of general visitors changing each JR line and subway and Tsukuba expressTukuba express. Also Akihabara is the town where electronic parts and a PC part and the animated cartoon goods which are not readily available are easily available in on other place. Though it was the town of the atmosphere that the town is slightly macho in old days, and is brutal, a suitable salesclerk of the maid to see in many places lets such an air soften calmly recently.

          They love music that pretty girls sing and dance with some cute costumescostume.Many of the girls don’t appear on television. But they are loved by many boys in Akihabara.

      For example, do you know “AKB48”? They are pop idol. They have their special theater on the 8 floor in the Don QuixoteDon Quixote in Akihabara, so their performances hold twice once on a holiday on a weekday. When it is holiday, long procession will be made around the building to see the girls.

AKB48: Idols are as important a component of the otaku matrix as anime, manga, and video games. And idol groups don't come any bigger (literally) than AKB48. A rotating cast of 48 perky girl idoru (idols) perform daily in a small auditorium on the 8th floor of the already insane Don Quixote discount store.

     The producer's idea was to create a space where top-quality performers could be accessible to anyone. But the idea backfired. The same rabid otaku, who sing and dance along to every number, snap up the tickets night after night and have all but monopolized the seats. Still, it's fun just to go up to the 8th floor near show time and watch the mad hurly-burly as the curtain rises and falls.

             Many girls drive for such the idol, and do a performance with songs and dances. Of course, some girls belong to the theatrical agency, there are many amateur in it. If they start to performance, a lot of boys will come for them. Also, the men begin to dance with the idol.

            can classify the streets of Akihabara of now in three groups greatly.

First, it is the idol of the road and the boys who dancedance with them.

Second, it is the people costuming many kinds of wears.

     Shoko Nakagawa, a former pin-up queen for Miss Magazine, dazzled the Tokyo Game Show by appearing on stage dressed in a costume from a popular martial arts game.

     Nakagawa, clad as a character from the “King of Fighters,” wowed the audience during a talk show and photo session that followed it on the final day of the country’s biggest game event.

    Shouko's father (the late Nakagawa Katsuhiko, once called the Japanese David Bowie) was a big influence on her life. When she was five, she was given horror manga by her father to read, his reason being that she couldn't become an adult without reading them. As a result of her father's influences, Shouko loves 80s idol music, anime, and old video games. She is considered to be something of a nerd because of it. This started her love for sentai, and after watching Mirai Sentai Timeranger, Shouko wanted to become a gravure idol like Katsumura Mika. Mika played the pink ranger Yuri in the series, and was also a gravure idol with several photobooks and DVDs out. Shouko studied all of these to prepare for her own debut as a gravure idol.

     Shouko was chosen as one of the winners of Miss Magazine 2002, which helped to boost her popularity some. In 2004 Shouko got to be in the show Men B with her idol Mika and the two became like sisters.

     Shouko loves to draw. When she was younger, she had wanted to grow up and become a mangaka. Many of her illustrations are available at her talent agency's profile website. In 2006 she began Shocotan Quest, a series only found at that website. She also became part of the illustrating group Jump Damashii.

     she also cosplays frequently, and has sold many of her costumes at an auction. These outfits included mainly Evangelion, Sailormoon, and Final Fantasy. Because of her love for cosplay, she has gained more fans who love to see her cosplay shoots. Shouko generally cosplays alone, but occasionally she cosplays with Ito Ayaka and Kyan Chiaki. When they cosplay together, they wear outfits according to their hair. For example, if Shouko is Tsukino Usagi from Sailormoon, Ayaka will be Mizuno Ami because of her shorter hair. For the anime Futari wa Pretty Cure, Shouko plays Honoka, and Ayaka is is Nagisa.

     Shouko began keeping a public blog in 2004. It shows her perfectionist habits and only further proves her nerdiness through her distinct way of typing and frequent updating. April 2005 marked her 600th entry, and Shouko blogged 70 times in the month of January 2006 alone. This is a national record for an idol blog. Manabe Kaori was once called the "Blog Queen" because of her own constant writing, but with this new record Shouko stole the title. Even fellow idol and friend Kawabe Chieco (5-7 entries a day) has not come to beat her yet. Shouko's entries began to get published in September 2005 in the book Shocotan Blog. On April 21st, 2006, Shouko's blog broke 100 million hits.

Natumero is the popular songs for the public which some years rolled. When people listen to the song of the time, their many old memory will rush into their mind.

History

Natumero word was abbreviated from the radio. It’s name is “Natukasino Melody”.

When the radio was broadcasted, the song(1926~1930) had been not popular until then. But then, it was revaluated, and Natumero boom occored.

Natumero was thought “the old song ”, so the time pass away, range spread out steadily. Today, the popular music until the former in the 80’s are meant the Natumero.

But Natumero is the ambiguous song. So it differ by the individual and each transmission. Also the record company tossed many kinds of Natumero, the formal definition is not.

Matsutoya Yumi is one of the greatest singers in Japan. She is not just a singer but a song writer.

She was born to a rich dry store owner and become intimate with music at ayoung age. She graduated from Tama University of the Arts where she studied music, and began to walk the way of music.

She debuted as a singer with a first her album "Hikokigumo" in 1973. Since then, she has made many albums, "Yuming Brand," "Pearl Pierce," "No-side," "Da Di Da," "Delight Slight Light Kiss," "Love Wars," "Heaven's Door," "Dawn Purple," and so on.

She married Matsutoya Masataka who had arranged her album in 1976.

She is a pioneer having opened up a new world of music by rich musical, witty songs. Her fans especially enjoy her bright stage settings and costumes which she is famous for. Since the Japanese era changed from Showa to Heisei in 1989, the total number of albums which she had sold in each succcesive year has been over two million . She acquired many prizes.

Her masterpiece song( Sotsugyousyashin) was coverd by ayumi Hmasaki.

"Sotsugyou sashin" is a cover of a song originally recorded by Yumi Matsutoya. The First Press version came in four alternate covers.

Hamasaki Ayumi Despite her child-like persona, you can't help but sense Hamasaki was never truly a child. Born in Fukuoka on the southern island of Kyushu, she was just a toddler when her father walked out. "I don't even know if he's dead or alive," she says. Raised by a single mother and a grandmother, she began modeling locally at seven, in part to earn money for the family. It was an unusual and lonely childhood in this country of steadfastly nuclear families, but Hamasaki says she wasn't aware of what she was missing.

Natsumero helps people

The genre of Natsumero is very popular as liked as nursery rhyme song among the olds. They have had specilal feelings for the song which was popular in their youth. So, it can be good occasion to start talking.

The olds have an image of Natsumero because it had sung about 5 years at least. This is the reason why Natsumero is used for musical therapy.

How many children's song can you sing?  I guess everyone can sing songs at least 10.  Song that every children likes is children's song, and  every adults also should like it when they were a little.  Kids sing the song at kindergartens and grade schools as well as their home.  This is one of the familiest songs of children in Japan as well as in the world.  In Japan, we call children's song "Doyo", but they are same meaning.

There are many children's song in Japan.  TV programs catering for children like "Minna-no-Uta" and "Okasan-to-Issho" play these songs at the same time each day.  These programs are so popular among children, and they see them every day.  Especially, "Okasan-to-Issho" is still hugely popular among Japanese children although 50 years have passed since it started.  The program has 4 main people, 2 singers and 2 gimnasts, and mascot called Spu, Zuzu, Anemu, and Jacobi.  This program sometimes holds concert.  It also popular in Japan.

Popular Children's Song 

There are many popular children's song in Japan, and sometimes they become hit song.

"Kuroneko-no-Tango(Black Cat Dance)" is sung by Osamu Minagawa in 1969, and this song was No.1 for 14 weeks and sold more than 2,400,000 copies.  Mr. Minagawa was only 6 years old when he sang this song.

"Oyoge! Taiyaki-kun(Swim! Taiyaki)" is sung by Masato Shimon in 1975, and this song was No.1 for 11 weeks and sold more than 4,600,000 copies.  He is a famous siner in Japan.  He sings mainly anime-song.

"Dango-San-Kyoudai(Dango Three Brothers)" is sung by Kentaro Hayami and Ayumi Shigemori in 1999, and this song was No.1 for 4 weeks and sold more than 3 million copies.  They appiared Okasan-to-issho as main character.

"Oshiri-Kaziri-Mushi(The Bottom Bite Bug)" is sung in 2007, and this song was sold more 170,000 copies.

What's a cappella?

A Cappella music is vocal music or singing without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way. A cappella was originally intended to differentiate between Renaissance polyphony and Baroque concertato style. In the 19th century a renewed interest in Renaissance polyphony coupled with an ignorance of the fact that vocal parts were often doubled by instrumentalists led to the term coming to mean unaccompanied vocal music. In modern usage, a cappella often refers to an all-vocal performance of any style, including barbershop, doo wop, and modern pop/rock.

KAJa! ~The biggest festival of A Cappella in Japan~ 

KAJa! is one of the biggest festival of A Cappella in Japan.  The fomal name of KAJa is "Kansai A cappella Jamboree", and held in Kyoto about 10 years ago.  Many people who like singing gather at the jamboree from around Japan.  This is the 11th year the jamboree has been held.

The Gospellers

The Gospellers is a Japanese a cappella singing group comprising five members: Tetsuya Murakami, Kaoru Kurosawa, Yuji Sakai, Yoichi Kitayama and Yutaka Yasuoka.  Originally calling themselves the A Cappella Circle when they were at the University of Waseda, they changed their name to the Gospellers in 1991 after graduating.　They came out in 1994 on the major record lebel. They spent the next ten years working towards national recognition, releasing 24 singles and 9 albums during that time. They became the first complete a cappella group to be in the top 3 of the Oricon chart ranking in Japan with their song, "Hirtori".  Their album "Love Notes" released on June 6, '01 recorded million sales. Since then, Gospellers released numerous hit songs, including "Hoshikuzu no machi" and "Mimoza"

RAG FAIR

RAG FAIR　is a Japanese male a cappella band. Its members are Reo Tsuchiya, Yosuke Hikichi, Kenichi Arai, Yoshiyuki Kato, Takamasa Kano, and Masayoshi Okumura.  In 2001 "Chikara-no-kagiri, Go-go-go!!"(Full power go go go!!), a variety program affiliated with Fuji TV, the a cappella members of group "replica" (where Masayoshi Okumura participated in those days) appears on the television show "Hamonepu".  They met each other at Saitama University. An a cappella circle named "chocoletz" was formed in 1997, and RAG FAIR emerged from this in 1999. They developed streetlives in those days around Oomiya Station and Musashiurawa Station.  They appear in TV like CM or Variety Shows.  They released a new CD "Akai Ito (Red Yarn)" on October 3rd, and they will also release "Sousyun-Rhapsody (early spring rhapsody)" on January 9th, 2008. Rag fair is an artist group who always takes on new challenges in every field.

Kumi Koda debuted in United States with "TAKE BACK" in November, 2000. She record the 18th place top in U.S. billboard dance chart. And she debuted with the same song in Japan in December, 2000. She releases 37 single, 3 best albums, 6 DVD, 5 original album until now.

She announces not only works of music but also photographic collection "MAROC" and photo essay "Koda style(倖田式)" and carry out a wide activity.

An idol group of the Janie office position formed Masahiro Nakai with Takuya Kimura, Goro Inagaki, Katsuyuki Mori (1996 withdrawal), Kusanagi Tsuyoshi, six people of Shingo Katori in 1988 by a leader.

They were chosen  a Skatar Boys in 1988. IN those days, Nakai was 15 ages, Kimura was 15 ages, Inagaki was 14 ages, kusanagi was 13 ags, Katori was 11 ages.They did a variety program and Janie activity positively for three years.Three years later, they were recognized by a lot of youths,As for them, it "is Can't stop" on September 9, 1991!  A CD made its debut in -LOVING-.

They were top one with the 12 th songs in a week ranking chart in 1994. They play an active part without only with a singer in wide fields such as a variety program or a drama and win national popularity。

The greatest hit is 2,500,000 pieces with "a flower of 2003 only in the world". The music repeats a revival hit whenever sung songs by Red and White Singing Contest and lengthens sales more.
